We pride ourselves in being unique as a music academy. We travel to our
students homes, which saves you time and money. We have found that offering the mobile
service saves parents from having to drive to a studio and sit for a half hour to an hour,
being pulled away from their own responsibilities from the daily tasks that we all have.
We teach private lessons to adults and children starting at age 6. Most
children under 6 don't have the attention span to spend even 30 minutes with a music teacher,
and even though we are in business to make money, we are not going to go through the motions
just for the money...

When your child shows an interest in taking lessons it's very important that
they are in the right environment to be motivated. It is very common to have a student
excited to play until they find out it is actually work having to practice their
instrument. We have a different approach that other schools with teaching the student
not only how to read music, and learn Theory, to actually pick out songs that he or she likes,
and teach by ear as well.

About the founder
The founder of Mile High Music
Academy Dino Cuneo
started playing the drums at age four, and by the time he was nine was playing professionally with
the group "The Togethers" currently known as Generations
Jazz Trio. At age 10 Dino was introduced to the late great "Buddy
Rich" and for the next two years received personal instruction from the man
himself. By the time Dino was 17, he had already shared the stage with Carlos
Santana and since shared the stage with such names as (POD
- Skillet - Warrant - Great White - Twisted Sister). Dino is currently
playing with Sanity's Edge metal band, and Generations Jazz Trio...

I started Mile High Music Academy to offer in
home instruction to students who truly want to learn the art of music. It seems these
days music is being dropped from School programs all the time. There is documented proof
that learning an instrument only helps in achieving a higher scholastic grade...
